Establishing the Forum


The Forum is being initiated by a working group of individuals representing various elements of the primary care team:

Kathy Abernethy
Associate Director/Senior Nurse Specialist, Menopause Clinical and Research Unit, Northwick Park Hospital Harrow, Middlesex. Director, the menopause course – an educational initiative for nurses.

Julie Ayres
Hospital Practitioner, Menopause and PMS Clinics, Leeds

Sue Calvert
Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Bradford Royal Infirmary. Special interest – urogynaecology, colposcopy and vulval disease. Tutor for the GPSI diploma in Gynaecology

A properly constituted group of officers will be elected at the Forum’s first Annual General Meeting which is provisionally planned for late 2009.
